Of the 133,526 T206 cards graded by PSA, less than two percent have been awarded an 8 (near mint-mint) grade. Age, quality of card stock and 
decades of handling have limited the number of high quality examples on the market.
At the National Sports Collectors Convention, though, you can find just about anything--including one of those scarcities.
You can also find other century-old cards in high grade and some that might look better than their technical grade.
